Honor's Story

Honor is a Mustang filly. She was born on a wild horse sanctuary and came to our facility, together with her mother, when she was very young.

She is a gorgeous blue roan color.

She's halter broke, leads, ties. We are working on her farrier behavior, but she is getting a lot better. She has been working in the round pen, has had a saddle pad on her and has started on desensitization with things (such as the lead rope) falling over her and around her legs. Honor seems to be a fast learner and is very willing, though at times she can be a little stubborn. She has not been introduced to the saddle yet, but is ready for the next steps in her training journey!

She’s in excellent overall health. She is up to date on vaccinations and deworming. She is currently around 13.3 hands and growing. Her mother is a stocky, approx. 14hh red roan mustang mare.
