Although the name of our rescue states an impossible task, it is not one we will stop dreaming or working towards.   We need the community of Elk Grove’s help to help the horses in our care and those who come next.

STAHR began in 2011 as a life's dream of Vicki Greene, founder and President of Save Them All Horse Rescue.  The mission was simple, rescue neglected, starved, unwanted horses to rehabilitate physically and emotionally and find forever homes; saving horses one at a time!

Mission Statement

Save Them All Horse Rescue is an equine rescue located in Northern California, made up of community volunteers dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted horses.  Our goal is to nurture them back to health, physically and emotionally, to give our horses their second chance with loving, caring, and forever homes, and to educate the public on equine issues.

WE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF HORSES AND PEOPLE.

About Us

Save Them All Horse Rescue has rescued from several sources; such as animal control, ranches going out of business, owners losing property, and some owners no longer being unable to care for their horses.  As our rescued horses find new homes, we have room available to save others.  We invite you to view our website, contact us, and come meet our horses.

Save Them All Horse Rescue was born from my lifelong love of horses and my awareness of the vast number of horses that are being neglected, sent to slaughter, and abandoned.  My desire is to help horses, find responsible owners, teach the public about the plight of horses, and to save as many horses as possible.

Save Them All Horse Rescue

Our rescue has accepted horses from county animal controls prior to euthanasia, from working farms that have failed due to owner's health, from ranches that can no longer care for their animals, and a Mustang from the Bureau of Land Management.  Our goal is to be there when horses need us.  To make this possible, we must be able to train the horses in our care to a level where they can be adopted and flourish in a new home, with new pasture pals and/or a dedicated owner.
